A network of small and seasonal business owners dedicated to saving American commerce by supporting and advancing the H-2B Non-Immigrant Worker program.
Save Small Business was created to unify the voice of ALL seasonal employers using the H-2B Non-Immigrant Worker Program. Without H-2B workers, many of these small businesses would greatly suffer, and some would be forced to close. The H-2B program sustains countless American small and seasonal businesses, and contributes to their success and longevity.
Last year we demonstrated to Congress the importance of the H-2B program for the small and seasonal businesses of America. We were instrumental in the passage of the Small and Seasonal Businesses Act of 2005 in Congress. This Act is due to expire on September 30, 2006, which would leave countless small business owners lacking unskilled workers to maintain the demands of their industries. Save Small Business is committed to getting an extension of the Small and Seasonal Businesses Act of 2005, but we need your help.
The best way to get the attention of our government leaders is by hearing from you, the small and seasonal business owner. You can help by calling and sending letters to your Senators and Representatives in Congress regarding the need to extend the Save Our Small & Seasonal Business Act of 2005. In addition, we plan to have a fly-in and hope you will be able to make it to our Nation's Capital. Remember that Congress is here to work for you, and you need their support of the H-2B program.
The coming weeks will be critical in the fight for the H-2B program, and it is our responsibility to ensure that Congress recognizes the significance of this program for American small businesses. You and I know that the future of small businesses depends on the availability of H-2B workers. Without these workers, the essence of American small business is lost. Let's work together to ensure that Congress realizes the importance of expanding the H-2B program in the United States. Thank you again for your support and keep fighting for America's small and seasonal businesses.
